Some veterans find it annoying when they are thanked for Memorial Day, which is commemorated on the last Monday in May. It is a day to remember and honor those who lost their lives and could not return home. At High Impacto, when we thank survivors, we make sure they know that we are always looking for ways to help them and the grieving families and loved ones who are left behind. We want to invite everyone in the community to reflect on why we, the living, have the luxury and freedom we enjoy today. We honor the dead best by treating the living well.
Many of us spend time visiting soldier’s graves, participating in annual events honoring this day, and enjoying family bonding with summer activities and moments of romantic intimacy with your partners, we believe it is important that before and after these activities we check our health, not only our sexual health by getting tested for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, but also trying to do a checkup of our overall health.
