Holidays offer time for good conversation, time to relax, to enjoy a good meal, and good wine. It is a time for self-indulgence or to please friends and family. It is a time that revitalizes the desire and incites the connection with your partner.
This past June 27th was National HIV testing day. This is a day to encourage people to get tested for HIV, know their status, and get linked to care and treatment. High Impacto was able to provide free HIV testing in partnership with Walgreens and the Greater than AIDS Campaign in commemoration of this day. We were able to help 100% of the visitors who came to our table at Walgreens in Miramar Florida learn about their HIV diagnosis before this Independence Weekend. Several studies have shown that, in general, people are more inclined to have sex during warmer months, so it makes sense that the summer and many holidays such as the 4th of July have come to be sex days. A new survey of 1,000 Americans conducted by Atlanta-based sex-toy brand Lovehoney.com found that many adults in the USA might be confusing the benefits of the American Revolution with those of the sexual revolution, as 74 percent have admitted to having sex on Independence Day in years past.
