In February there are many holidays and celebrations to commemorate. It’s the month of Valentine’s Day, Presidents’ Day, and it’s when this country recognizes Black History Month. This year, Fat Tuesday and Ash Wednesday also fall in February. “Fat Tuesday” refers to the last-night practice of eating richer, fattier foods before the ritual fast of the Lenten season, which begins on Ash Wednesday.
